No refunds are payable once a place has been accepted on a course and term commences. No refunds will be issued if learners fail to attend classes.
Payment must be made for all courses, whether taken or missed. Make-up sessions will not be given in the case of learner absence. In the eventuality that a musician is unable to deliver a session, the learner may be given the option of taking a make-up sessions with the learner’s allocated Musician at a date/time to be mutually agreed or offered a session with a substitute Musician.
We would be grateful for advance notice to be given to Music Generation Louth in the event that a learner will not be able to attend on a particular date so that we may notify the relevant Musician. Our contact details are: Tel 042 93 64635/email [email protected]
Music Generation Louth reserves the right to dismiss any learner for frequent disciplinary reasons, overdue course payments and/or non-compliance with regulations. Learners thus dismissed are not entitled to any refund of course fees.
Regular practice is essential to see any improvement in the young musician’s musical abilities. We ask that parents keep in regular contact with the Musician for guidelines on practicing and to monitor your child’s progression.
Learners wishing to prepare for external graded music exams should consult with their allocated Musician regarding dates and procedures for registration. Music Generation Louth facilitates RIAM graded live examinations for the April/May session only. Young musicians preparing for examinations outside this period/ with other examining bodies will need to register/pay and arrange for accompaniment themselves.
Music Generation Louth can provide learners and/or schools with musical instruments. The instrument on loan will be recorded by Music Generation Louth and an invoice issued. The details of
the hire are on the Instrument Loan form. The instruments are loaned on a term-by-term basis. It is the responsibility of the learner and/or school to look after the instruments. Any broken instruments must be repaired. Please Note: The repair costs will be the responsibility of the learner and/or school. Music Generation Louth should be informed about all breakages to enable us to advise on repairs. Please note Music Generation Louth is not liable for the replacement of bows, strings etc.
N.B. The instruments are available on hire only to children and young people taking Music Generation Louth classes. Presently there is no mechanism for instruments to be hired to extrenal learners outside the service.
In order to guarantee your slot on the following term’s timetable students must have re-enrolled by the end of each term.
