What a fantastic jam packed three days we had at this year’s online version of Sounds Like Summer. It was really inspiring to see the students, with participants from all over Louth, so excited and actively engaged in the course, regardless of the fact they couldn’t meet in person this year.
The group was bursting with creativity in the music tech, instrumental and songwriting classes and the songs they produced were proof that the future of pop music is in safe hands!
To cap off a wonderful three days of music making some of the students put together a performance of George Ezra’s ‘Paradise’. The following upbeat performance, with smiles all around, really captures the fun and creative energy present at this year’s course. Congratulations to everyone involved! A special word of thanks to Paul Campbell, our Course Director and to our musicians Conor and Theresa for their great work and dedication to keep Sounds Like Summer alive this year. Now sit back and enjoy this performance of ‘Paradise’ and we hope to see you all again next year!
