We are excited to open registration for our annual Sounds Like Summer music camp. This pick ‘n’ mix course once again has something for everybody, with a special focus this year on popular music.
You get to choose and mix your classes, try new instruments and musical activities, play in groups and bands, meeting new friends along the way. And you’ll build up to a performance on the final day. Now’s your chance to develop your existing instrumental skills, play along with others and try out something musical you’ve never done before.
You’ll take four classes a day choosing from: Music Technology, Song Writing, Creating Beats, Keyboards, Drum kit, Percussion, Ukulele, Bass Guitar, Lead Guitar and Visual Multi Media.
Children and young people aged 8 to 18 of all abilities, from beginner to advanced. Tell us your playing level and we’ll group you with others of your age group with similar skills and interests.
This morning-only option is for 6-8 year olds. You’ll learn about music through percussion, games, and singing. Then try out all sorts of instruments, play in a band, and maybe find something to inspire you to learn an instrument.
