Music Generation Louth is looking for as many young singers as possible to join the Dundalk Children’s Choir.
Rehearsals restart at Music Generation Louth, LMETB, Chapel St on Tuesday 15 September 2015 and runs from 5.30- to 6.45pm weekly during school term time. The group is led by Newry born choral conductor Clare McEvoy who brings a wealth of experience and training to her role as Choir Director.
Membership is open to anyone from second class upwards. No audition is necessary. The only requirement is to love singing and enjoy making new friends!
The choir will be working on a wide range of songs and have a number of exciting performances are in the plans for the year ahead. The Dundalk Children’s Choir forms part of Music Generation’s Young Voices Louth programme that includes a children’s choir in Drogheda and a large-scale county choral progamme for primary schools.
Dundalk Children’s Choir provides a really affordable and fun way to get children involved in music making. Membership costs €30 per term/€60 annually. For anyone already attending instrumental or vocal lessons with Music Generation Louth, membership is totally free.
